ROUND 1 NSFR ANNOUNCED TODAY
“Round 1 was hotly contested with 405 applications and only 51 funded.”
Funding of $212.2 million has been approved for 51 projects under Round One of the Australian Government’s National Stronger Regions Fund. The Fund supports economic growth and productivity, and boosts employment in areas of disadvantage in Australia’s regions.
The vast majority of the successful project have a split of around 70% council contribution and 30% Commonwealth Contribution.
