Our team has been busy running a series of one day sessions designed to assist Not-For-Profit and Council’s around the Central West in preparing their grant applications and business cases for a number of upcoming grant programs.
Competition for funding is fierce, and it’s unfortunate that a number of good projects go unfunded because the detail and quality of the application is just not there. There are a number of Federal grants available to the Not-for-Profit sector and Central NSW Councils for a range of projects and it is fantastic to see the RDA organising the workshops to help Central NSW get a bigger piece of the funding pie.
The workshops were held in Bathurst and Forbes this week and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Margaret Paton, Corporate Engagement Co-ordinator for Verto based in Bathurst said, “Just wanted to thank you for an amazing presentation yesterday – really felt I got an insight into a grant writing 12 galaxies away from what I’ve been doing.”
